At The Ebell of Los Angeles, an outstanding culinary experience is just as important as the ambiance and architecture.  Whether preparing a gala menu for 1,200, a cocktail party with a variety of bites and flavors, or an intimate multi-course wine pairing dinner, The Ebell’s Special Event Team and Executive Chef can transform your event into a gala affair.

About the chef

Executive Chef Dan Cincis
“Working in a kitchen is my soul and my life. I’m not there because people expect to see me; I’m there because I want to be.”
Dan Cincis is a passionate Executive Chef with a demonstrated history of working in the food and beverage industry. Past experience includes working at the Calabasas Country Club, El Caballero Country Club, the opening of successful supper clubs, pizzerias and private catering.  Dan put himself through culinary school in 2001 while working full time in the food industry.  Originally he worked as a computer technician for Price Waterhouse Coopers before realizing his passion for the culinary arts.
“I’m asked a lot what the best thing about cooking for a living is. And it’s this; to be a part of a subculture. To be a part of a historical continuum, a secret society with its own language and customs. To enjoy making something good with one’s own hands–using all one’s senses. It can be, at times, the purest and most unselfish way of giving pleasure.”
